My mother reading to her grandchildren
Support for grandparentsStay connected without overstepping
Being a grandparent can be one of the great joys of life. It can also be surprisingly complicated.
You want to stay close to your grandchildren and be a supportive presence in their lives. But your adult children may parent differently than you did. Expectations are not always clear, and even well-meaning advice can create tension.
Together, we’ll explore things like:
Navigating differences in parenting styles
Knowing when to speak up and when to step back
Communicating with your adult children with care and respect
Building strong relationships with your grandchildren while respecting their parents’ boundaries
The Grandparents Circle is a supportive space to talk honestly about these gray areas and find ways to stay connected across generations.
Interested in joining a future Grandparents Circle?
I don’t have a group scheduled right now, but I’d love to know you’re interested. Sign up to join my list and I’ll let you know when the next one is planned.
“Lisa has a wonderfully inviting, hospitable, trust-building, and empowering presence and teaching style. She’s engaged but not directive, an authority yet not authoritative, challenging yet not demeaning, and fun!”
